When this cute little boy read his love letter for a girl at the singing competition, I’m just sooooo moved!
I love the way they convey their feeling for each other~ it reminds me of all the sweetest memories I had with people I love~ And obviously, everyone else on the scene is deeply touched by the confession too. At this moment, these two kid are like the warm little center of the world where all of love is stored.
Chinese students commented on Renren that “It’s fortunate that these 2 kids aren’t in China(这俩孩子没在中国是多么的幸福)”. Other people also commented that “If it is in China, their parents will be called to school and get a big lecture(在中国,家长就该被叫去学校训话了)”.

Beause in China, love between such little kids are viewed as a serious problem. We even have a special term for it — “早恋” (Zǎo liàn), which means inappropriate love in young age. If a kid is caught zaolian, his/her parents and teacher will be horrified and do whatever they could to “rescue” this kid from the relationship. Because they believe it will distract the kid from study and prepare for all of those endless tests.
But here is a dilemma: although most Chinese parents don’t want their children have any relationship in school, they do wish their kids to marry the Mr/Ms Right right after they graduated! Wow~can you guys see how much pressure is it for Chinese youth? No sex education, no puppy love, no relationship in school! but get marry ASAP! Have a family ASAP! Have a baby ASAP!
Well, honestly speaking, I can totally understand the peer pressure and society pressure in this issue: How can you lose yourself in some kind of so called “love” when everyone else is running on their way to bright future?!! But, is it possible for us just to have a little space for love? We don’t need a fairy tale, we just need the chance to sing with the one we like.
